Peace

Morning Recipe for Success

What’s your morning recipe for a successful day?

No, I’m not talking about a literal food recipe, but the things you do every morning to prepare for a peace-fueled day.

Here’s my list.  And before you say you can’t or you’re too busy, keep in mind I am a single mom of a 6 year old.  We do the things we want to do.  (wink, wink)

DeAnne’s Morning Recipe for a Peace-Fueled Day

  • Wake up at least 2 hours before my son for quiet time so I can do the following...

    • Read books that provide nuggets of wisdom & take notes

    • Journal

    • Gratitude/Greatest Day/Affirmation list

    • Write blog post from my learnings for reinforcement & to share what I learn

  • Morning cuddles when my son Anders wakes up

  • Personal 20-30 min yoga practice while Anders eats his breakfast

I write 4-5x/week and my goal is to practice yoga 5 days a week. Everything else, I do every single day, no matter what.

SO - what’s your routine to ground your day in peace and love?  If you don’t have one and find yourself running all over the place in the morning completely scattered, perhaps you might want to create one and test it out. Can’t hurt…may help.
